Planned maintenance is essential to minimise downtime and the inconvenience of a breakdown. We offer three levels of fixed price servicing: from a basic inspection to an in-depth inspection and all fluids and filters changed. Prices for a counter balance forklift start at just £120. Forklift repairs
At Independent Forklift Services, our response to your needs is quick and efficient. Our mobile service units are equipped with a compressor, generator, welders and much more. This enables us to maintain a high first time fix ratio. Repairs can be carried out in minimal time thus reducing downtime and labour charges. Our normal hourly rate is only £58 per hour.
Thorough examination (LOLER)
By law every forklift over 1 year old must have a thorough examination at least once every 12 months, a bit like a car has an MOT, only more complex. A thorough examination covers LOLER 98 and PUWER 98.
A competent person (i.e. an experienced engineer or a specialist inspector) must carry this out. Having attended the CFTS approved course for thorough examinations, you can rest assured that we are competent to carry out these important inspections. Beware! Not all insurance inspections are a thorough examination. The formal report should be entitled Report of thorough examination. Prices starting at just £99.
